Bathroom Remodel

I decided to remodel my bathrooms.  They were sooooooo ugly and I noticed they were beginning to fall apart.  It took about 5 weeks total to do 2 bathrooms as it was mostly done on the weekends.  Rafael my saint, did the work along with a few helpers along the way. 

Here is the original bathroom.  Ugly, Circa 1981.

History

I found some photos of me when I was in the casino business.  I opened up the first casino in Shreveport, Lousiana called the Shreveport Rose.  Probably named after Michael Rose, but perhaps also because Lousiana is also known for their lovely roses.  It was a time of pure Hell and wonderful friendships and fun.  Sometimes when you experience both simultaneously you want to forget it for a long time, but some good memories surface.  Regardless, I have an old picture of me.  Brings back good memories this day.  I brought the camera as I always do.  We flew in on a small plane where the boat was being built, which for some reason I want to say was Natchez, or someplace like that.  Anyway, it was funfilled day and I am glad that some memory was captured.  I spent 20 years in the gaming industry, only 5 of which were in Louisiana, The Shreveport Rose and the Shreve Star.

Sisters

This was my favorite picture of my sisters and I in Aruba a couple of years ago when visiting Ginette.  We had a great time and it was good we did this for Sally is still battling cancer.  Only one more treatment to go!!!!

Cujo at Club Med

Super Moon

I got up early this morning and about 7:15 went outside to witness the rising of Super Moon to my west. 
If I had been able to see it closer to the horizon it would have looked even bigger, but was pretty spectacular nonetheless.

Cub Med

The weather has been just incredible here in Florida with 80 during the day and 58 or so at night.  I have opened up the balcony for the kitties to enjoy and they most certainly did.

Addy Jude

My neighbor Dee took home the cutest kitty from the shelter.  She loves to hang by the window and watch the world go by.  Picture quality is not that great as it was taken from my iPhone.

Quite the lovely one this Addy Jude.  So pretty through the window!

New Year's Day

I have a terrible cold and today was the first day that I could really rest, since I had to work the holiday as well being very sick..  After getting out of bed, I was determined to get the house aired out since the temperature went from freezing cold to 78 within a couple of days.  Amazing how quickly things change in Florida.  Anyhow, I opened the doors to bring in the fresh air and soon after I found the kitties outside soaking up the sun.  Tigrrr was especially comfortable on the lounger looking quite cozy.
